Timeless Fungi Collage Painting on 11x14” Canvas

I made this whimsical collage on stretched canvas over several years. Got a lengthy case of artists block before being inspired by Steampunk. I stole one of my dad’s outdated horological magazines and cut it to bits. I thought the lil wooden box reminded me of a Victorian “cabinet of curiosities” so I added a few minuscule treasures. Then I had so much fun with little nature treasures that I added a few dried Michigan mushrooms from my collection to the overly ornate clock. Anyway this collection of fungi and clock ephemera makes me happy and I hope you enjoy it too :)
